Are prisons to relaxed?

Are some prisons to relaxed i.e prisoners get luxuries such as parties, playstations, pool tables etc....

What do you think??
Additional Details
Parties - halloween, birthdays and xmas!!

Prisoners also get paid to do work and can also gain qualifications!!!

Assuming you mean "too" relaxed, I don't think so. First, I have never seen a playstation in a prison, although I suspect that there are some that allow privately owned playstations. None that provide them, however. There might be some pool tables in prisons but I have never seen one. Perhaps because cues and balls are easily made into weapons. I don't know what you mean by a party, so I can't really respond. All that being said, there are many levels of security in prisons. Some don't even have fences. The most secure are also the most expensive for the taxpayers. The idea is to allow some prisoners to demonstrate that they can be trusted and then allow them to be in a more free environment. As the other option is to offer no incentives and just put everyone in the most expensive prison, I rather like the current plan.

I have several problems with your post, miss.

First, the proper word would be "too" here, not "to", as the title proclaims. "Too" would mean "too much/too a degree that is over the top", while "to" means that the noun is going somewhere, or may indicate future tense. Look at your title before you post for correct grammar, for God's sake. By the way, two question marks in a sentence is never required. Lastly, at the end, you used four periods, whilst an elipse is three periods put together, no more, no less, the indicate trailing off, or a pause.

Now that that is out of the way, for the actual question.

No, prisons are not too relaxed. You are missing the entire point of prisons, they are not ment to punish, but to protect the people from possible future crimes. A murderer is not sent to prison to be punished, he is sent to prsion in order to prevent him from repeating his actions.

Practice your grammar, graduate high school, and then maybe you can post without making a fool of yourself.

Thank you.

I think it is interesting how criminals can watch television, and have full health care, (with more amenities)- and my husband and I can't afford cable and health insurance for my family. Must be nice to break the law and still get luxuries in life. Prision is no paradise, but it is better than what most impoverished families and homeless people have.
