Are the Muslim, "religious police" in force in the UK?

I know that limited Sharia Law is recognized in some courts in some parts of London, Birmingham and Manchester. In places like Saudi Arabia and Iran, a special police force enforces Muslim laws such as women's dress codes (they must be covered from head to toe). Is this same police force in places in the UK that recognize Sharia Law?

I hope not. For crying out loud-the UK will be thrown back into the stone ages where they stone women to death for not covering their heads. I don't think so. I really don't know, though. |

Good Lord,No! Our previous labour government did allow them to have some limited sharia courts.I hope the new government closes them. There certainly isnt any police you speak of. We sadly do have some women who wear the Burka,but thats only because her husband forces us to do.I suppose there may be a few who actually wants to wear them. Britain is a Christian state that kindly allows other religions to practice,but there is nothing you speak of,and never will be while I am alive.. Other members should realise this is what would have happened had labour won.I hope you be warned! |
