As a waitress you are supposed to receive tips for good friendly service. If you don't think your getting what you should, maybe you should check your attitude. Or maybe the place your working is not bringing in the right clientele.

i am a waitress and after 10pm (3rd shift) at my resturant we are to hit the gratuity button (15%) on everyone except police and employees that work there. mostly everyone in our town knows the after 10pm rule. we are paid 2.75 an hour and 3rd shift doesnt make much money in tips. so thats how we make our money, basically, by the orders we put in. me, really, i kinda feel bad sometimes by doing it but hey i need money.
