Yes, they can. They did it to my husband and me without any true standard of evidence. Later the SW admitted that it was a mistake, but by then the devastation was already done. Get yourself a good lawyer if you can possibly afford one. |

If the child's safety is in jeopardy, of course.
If it's just over "he said she said" rumor nonsense, no.
They have to have some type of valid proof the child is in danger. Such as unexplainable bruises, burns, they're malnourished, extreme filth like ring worm... etc. |

Where I live it's called CPS (Child Protective Services) & Yes, I believe that they CAN apprehend a child while in school Without notifying the parents of that child INITIALLY...AFTER they apprehend the child, I believe, they MUST notify the parents that the chil;d has been apprehended...they Wouldn't want to tell the parents BEFORE they apprehend the child, for fear that the parents will got to the school and pick up their kid and disappear. |
