For Patent lawyers preferably!
I have an idea for a medical treatment for people already infected with a certain virus.
How can I go about getting the patent for the type of medical treatment I have an idea for and then present it to the right medical industry to use.
If my idea was patented, my intention would be to allow any medical industry to use it as long as it was free, with no type of monetary gain.
Tell me if that last sentence would be feasible.

You can indeed patent a process or method of doing something. It's filed as a patent just like any other.
Yes, you can license the patent to only be used for no cost, although enforcing it is probably going to be hard. It's also not really reasonable to expect a doctor to administer something for free, you'd have to alow them at least a nominal fee for their time. |
