yes you can it is called emacipation and you are aloud to do it when you are 16 only if you can prove that you can live on your own and yo can support yourself then yo go to a judge and get the hell out hope that helps it all takes about 3 months but it is worth it trust me

I have no clue, but in South Carolina you can if you have a job and can support yourself. Look it up on the internet.

You would probably need to be emancipated to do this. I pasted the link to the section from the Colorado Code that seems to pertain to this. If your friend is not 18 years old, you should be careful about trying to rent a place because contracts with minors are not usually considered enforceable.

i think that would depend on where u live, but im pretty sure in missouri (where im from) u can move out at 17.

I' m not sure. I do know that my cousin moved into her aunts house when she was, but that was because of verbal abuse

No you have to be 18 to be able to just leave without their permission. Until then your parents are still in charge. You would have to file a legal suit against them to legally emancipate yourself.

if you get emancipated from you parents you can. I'm not really sure exactly what you'd need to do but you'd need to be able to prove to the court that you're capable of providing for yourself...go to the courthouse or go to the website for the courthouse and look it up

It depends on what state you live in. But in most, you just need to be emancipated by the courts. In order to get emancipated you have to prove to the courts that you have a high level of maturity and provide them a good reason why you do not need to live with your parents.
