Can I legally show this Document to someone else?

Can I legally show this Document to someone else?

By accident I found a false complaint lodge against me-Unkown to me that it was even filed in the courts. Action was never pursued by the person who made this false claim against me, yet it is still on the State computer for people to read if they want.

Since the complaint is against me, can I legally print it out and send to a few people, including the person who did this to me?

Everyone says "it" didn't hurt me. I disagree when the Public can view this humialting report.

Many people don't understand the legal system when they read these kinda of things on a court computer.

People DO make an assumption about you based on this kinda of crap.

They don't take the time to fully read and investiagte, such as a possible potential employer-That D0 run your name.

this is covered under the public knowledge act. since it was processed in a court of law it becomes public which is open record for anyone to have access to. it doesn't matter if it was acted upon or not.
if it had your name and your information you may access it and do whatever you like.
if the document contained false allegations about you then this is called determent of character, which you may seek judgment against the person/s who filed the claim if it stands a chance of hurting your reputation or public standings as well as future business dealings, personal or public. you will be required to prove that you have been harmed in this matter.
hope this helps.
the dj man said that (also a city commissioner).

It's a public record.

If it's a public record you can distribute it to whomever you like.

I would suggest starting with a good lawyer who can clear your name and potentially sue for damages.

Yes, you can print it and show it to other people.

I disagree with the first answerer about suing. People have the right to file complaints, even if they're not followed up later, unless they can be proved false and malicious. Additionally, since you were unaware of it until now, you haven't suffered any monetary or personal damages.

Yes you can copy it and counter sue But you have to ask yourself will it be worth all the trouble or should you just let it go . Depending on who it was and how long ago you may just want to drop it .
