Can I receive police training while at the same time getting my Criminal Justice degree?

I want to start my career early. And on the police department website it says they will pay for part of my tuition. I am assuming they so this if you commit to working for them. So I was wondering if I could do this while at the same time getting my degree? Would I be getting paid to get trained? And would you recommend signing up for the police department and going back to school later on? Thanks for the input. I am a fantastic student. Over 4.0 gpa but I hate school and let us be honest, most of what I will learn is not going to prepare me to actually be an officer.

I am not sure about the payment, what i know is that police training is going to take most of your time so, going to school will no be easy if possible. I say "if possible" cause in some police departments they sent you to boot camp for about a month or so.
