I have a legal registered gun in Nevada. Let's say some ganster punk pulls a gun out on me. Can I shoot him?

If someone were pointing a gun at me (minus a police officer) I'd shoot them in a heartbeat.
Every state I've lived in has been open carry, actually of the three none required registration either, so I've never had to worry about permits. Still, I'd rather deal with duking out a permit issue than be dead. |

If you can prove that you were in eminent danger of your life or that of another then you can use deadly force and fire your weapon. |

yes, i know i would! but you will have to prove you were protecting yourself. and he can press charges on you for shooting them, even though you were protecting yourself, it might sound harsh but shoot to kill. be sure you use a good hollow point for personal protection. be safe |

If he threats and really intends to shoot you, then by all means, go and defend yourself. Otherwise, shooting someone right on just because a gun is pointed at you could be a disadvantage to your part after the guy is injured or killed. |
