Only if they put a gun to your head and forced you to eat them...... |

go to the website and see if they have a customer service page. if you have there address you can write to them or call them and ask them them how you can contact a representative and talk to them directly about your issue. if not ask a lawyer and he should tell you what to do handling suing matters are part of their job. good luck |

you should have got you addiction under control but you could sue (not recommended) if the package doesn`t say or have some kind of warning. |

euro_hunk2
yes you can sue them because they havn't put a warning on the wraper so now you have cancer sue them for every penny they got |

No Recourse, To many people sue like this and it only hurts everyone as a whole |

I think your stupidity destroyed your life way before the M&M's did idiot. |

start by blogging it. email the info to the hottest lawyers, get all the info u need from registered doctore for the court hearing. then seek help from a reputable shaman. |

I'm sorry abut the dude but you choice to eat all of that candy but they should have but a warning label on there product like the cigarette company's do |

the answer to your question seems obvious to me. you
made a choice to eat m&ms . you said you would grab a
bunch of them in your right hand a eat them . now you
have skin cancer from the artificial coloring in the candy. I think your legal action should be against you and your right hand. |

Get real!!! I'm overweight, would't I be stupid to try to sue food venders over what I've done to myself! |

http://www.cspinet.org/reports/chemcuisine.htm and also visit this site http://www.mnwelldir.org/docs/immune/immune1.htm. apparently his doctor isnt a quack. buttttt almost everyhing we consume these days have artificial coloring in em'. I was surprised by this question and guess ill b sceptical myself now too. |

If it's true, you can, if they don't have a warning on the back.. sue sue sue them all.... Dam them 2 hell! |

Life lover
Then you might as well go after the soap, lotion, shampoo, clothing industries also. Prove which one caused it....All of these things have artificial coloring in them. Good luck |

raven blackwing
I have been eating them for years and no skin cancer. There is a lot of things we eat that use the same colors so you can't say it was the m&ms |

bestanswer

If your doctor really stated this, your problem will be proving that you ate M&M's for this many years on a continuing basis to be the proximate cause of your skin cancer. |

Well i Say..
hmm.. good luck with this one |

Cyndaly
no. you nor your doctor could possibly prove it came from that specific candy and none other. I seriously doubt you could prove it came from candy at all! |

Sleepy Dad
Sounds like you need a second opinion. If it was caused by the artificial colors, a lot more cases would show up and Mars Inc would have been out of business a long time ago.
If you're going to sue anybody, sue the Sun or your Sunblock. |

Me...

Thanks is all i have to say.
hint: 4 the pts |

LMAO---you did it again didn't ya????
I gotta give you an ...A+++ ...on this one !! |

mustanglady

I do not think you can as almost everything has artificial coloring. So how would you know it was the M&M's? |

just me being me
lol |

You do have recourse - you can sue your doctor for making such a moronic diagnosis. |

Princess
Hahaha! You can try to sue them, but I doubt that you will win. In tortious lawsuits, you have to prove proximate cause, meaning that you have to be able to prove that the defendant actually caused the harm. This is your problem. First of all, you have to prove that your skin cancer is caused by artificial colors (and not sunshine, like most people). Second, you would have to prove that the cancer was caused by M&M candy and not any other foods that you have consumed with artificial coloring- unless you have exclusively eatten M&Ms in your lifetime, this would be impossible to prove. So, you can try, but you probably won't win. |

nrr_nrr
wow,i never heard of anyone that got skin cancer from that. |

bluedoggy2006

Prove it and sue. I'm sure Hersey would find your doctor incompetent and an alternate explaination for your skin cancer. |

The Chesire Cat
You can't be serious..
If you are, we should all be dead by now from growing up eating M&M's..
I want proof of this one..
No, I dont think you can sue them unless you have 100 percent hard facts and if you do we all can sue them by class action I suppose. |

SWIFFER THE WONDER MUTT
I think your doctor is a quack. |

knittinmama
You might find an attorney to do it but be prepared for a long drawn out period of litigation. Trying to proove that the skin cancer was caused by artificial colors in the candy may be difficult. |

mr instigator
You can try to sue, but you will have a hard time actually proving it to the judge. Also, i'd like to say that is why i only eat the green m and m's, not the red ones cause they cause cancer big time! |
