The picture you submit on a job application should not determine whether or not you are hired. So then why am I being discriminated against based on my appearance?

Look, all jobs have basic requirements. You were foolish to get so many tattoos so that you become a distraction and therefore do not qualify for many jobs.
I agree with "due Sept 14" when she said that picture is not professional. That is not a picture you send in for a job application. It shows a lack of good judgement on your part. |

i can't believe you submitted this picture on a job application?? Yes of course they didn't hire you because of the picture, but not because of your tattoos, rather because the fact that you submitted a picture like this shows your lack of professionalism.
You cannot sue Baskin Robins for not hiring you. This is not discrimination... it was simply common sense on the hiring managers part.
And by the way, they probably asked for a picture ID not a candid picture, which makes this even more unprofessional |

You shouldn't have been asked to send in a picture. However if they asked for a photo ID that is different. But a picture isn't something they should have asked.
If they truly said that, I would get the name of the man/woman that said that (full name) and I would contact a lawyer. Honestly it sounds like they were discriminating.
