My son is employed at Six Flags New England and know that there going to lay him off at the end of the season and was wondering if he could collect unemployment.

No,he will be hired as a seasonal employee and will sign his employment contract stating that.
Besides,to qualify for unemployment,you have to be available for work. When he goes back to school,he won't be available for work. |

No, he's not employed full time. He's a seasonal employee.
Tell him to hit the pavement and find another job.
Unemployment is for people worthy of it. A 16 y/o is not. |
