The person isn't allowed to even have a house, so therefore having a gun in the house would be illegal solely because he shouldn't be there.

First... there no such thing as an illegal immigrant. If your an immigrant, then you are here legally. If you're here illegally, then you are an alien.

An alien is nothing to the US, he has no rights and is not a citizen. The second amendment does not apply to non- US citizens, nor does the 1st amendment.

I would imagine that they wouldn't want to hand out guns to just an immagrant with the terrorist attacts and all. You could go down to the court house and find out what your rights are. If you are illegal then you probally have none. Why don't you do the paper work to become leagle. Then maybe you can own a gun.

Anyone can HAVE a gun; an illegal immigrant can't LEGALLY REGISTER one.

Anyone can have a gun, whether or not it is legal is another question. Depending on the state you are in, and then even the county or city, you may be required to register any handguns you have, so simply owning them without registration is illegal. Where I am at, you can have them without registering them. But to buy them you must be legal and free of criminal backgrounds that bar owning a weapon. Check with your local Sherriff's office to find out about your specific areas laws.

If he's caught with it, though, he faces prosecution and deportation. However, since he's already a criminal, why would he care?

Any one can own a gun and keep it in their house. As for being an illegal, well there are thousands of them and not everyone has a gun, but some do.

If he is illegal, what make you think if they had a gun & brought it with him, or he could have found one on the street, that he would turn it in or throw it away?? He shouldn't even be here, much less have a gun!

Assuming that in the state he lives in requires a permit and or license, then the answer is no! Does not mean he can not have a gun illegally!

If he can get someone to buy it from a dealer for him that has a driver's licence and social security number. Or he could buy a used gun from a private owner. After the initial purchase of a fire arm from the manufacturer, or wholesaler, there is no paperwork whatsoever on where that gun goes and who has it. :-o That's nice, isn't it?
