I was just wondering, I just got back from our local carnival, and an officer was taking pictures of "gangster" teens.
Isn't that illegal?
Or am I wrong?

It sounds legal, but could be considered racial profiling at worst. Depends on what they were doing at the time. "Reasonable suspicion" goes a long way. The type of clothing one wears is an unfortunate stigma. If they are good kids, they have nothing to worry about. |

Let me get this straight, you were in a public place, and the officer was taking pictures in this public place. In which case the officer can take whatever pictures he or she wants. because it is a public place. Get the picture, you have no case. |

I know that FEMA can take pictures of children, and post them on their website...without the consent of that childs parents. |
