Because I heard that most prisoners resort to suicide, and those who were too afraid to commit suicide received decades of mental torture in an oppressive prison environment. So, do prisoners have the right to die?

no, that isn't allowed. US prisons are tough and dangerous places but that is because they are full of tough and dangerous people. The vast majority of prisoners complete their sentences and return to society. I am not saying that the prison experience is positive in any way but it cannot be described as "mental torture".
