yes once you have some form of id, some banks ask for picture id which you can get from your local police station (age card) and they might for something with proof of your address on it like some sort of bill or passport or driving license |

Yes. You do have to have a valid drivers license and a form of identification as well as know your social security number.
For WAMU.COM you can even open up one online.
In order to establish WaMu account(s) online, you must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident with a valid Social Security Number and U.S. residence address. If this does not describe you and your joint account holder, if applicable, please call customer service at (800) 788-7000 or visit your local WaMu Financial Center to apply for an account. |

Once you turn 18, you can do whatever you basically want without your parents. I am 20 yrs. old and I do what I want. I still talk to my parents for the advice, I may or may not take it. But most of the time they are right about it. I've been out on my own, moved in with my boyfriend(now husband) about 3 months after I turned 18. My brother-in-law and his girlfriend got an apartment. He was 18, and she wasn't even 18 yet... |

Yes, of course. I don't know the minimum age, though, or if it depends on the bank. But at 18 you are able to open an account without parental consent. |
