To start with, I don't want opinions on the matter, I just need realistic legal opinions.
3 days ago I was trying to come across marijuana for today (4-20) and while I was looking for someone I sent a text to one of my friends and asked him if he knew any dealers. He never responded so I figured it was a no. Last night at about 2 am his mom texted me back from his phone saying she was going to see what my parents and school would say about this, and basically harassing me. Legally, the school can't get involved and, I didn't do anything illegal anyway, am I right?

how is asking "do you know any dealers?" evidence that I was soliciting a crime? I never mentioned any drug, I never said why I wanted to know if he knew any dealers, for all he knew i was taking a poll. And how do they know I wasn't talking about a card dealer

uh...you were using a wireless device to solicit a crime (purchase of MJ) and are a minor.

Your friend's mother's response would not be considered harassment. The school can't press charges against you, but they can certainly punish you. You won't be prosecuted because the evidence is so minor, but you actually did break the law by attempting to acquire a controlled substance. It's not much different from walking down a street and asking if anyone knows where you can get some weed.
