im 16 years old, i live in new york, here's the thing, i got a fine of 25$ for possession of a little weed, and the officer took my address,is it possible that they can just show up at my house randomly to check if i was smoking???.......i know im paranoid

He took your address so he could fill out his paperwork properly. I highly doubt that he will come by your home to see if you are using marijuana. |

Unless you have a parole officer from court that you have to check in with, No. A parole officer is the only one that can just drop in on you. If they have probable cause they can get a warrant and come into your house but other than that your fine. And for the record, this will probably kill my chances of getting best answer, but if you were gonna quit smoking you wouldn't be worried about them searching your house, as you would have nothing to hide. |
