I highly doubt U.S. Customs will allow you to bring animals over the border. Animals, especially reptiles and birds, can carry diseases and foreign to another country, and are usually not allowed to be transferred.

Absolutely not!!! If you do and get caught they will possibly arrest you, definitely fine you and hold you at the border for a lengthy period of time. Do not try it. I've been to Mexico more times than I can remember and trust me they will not allow it or permit it. As a matter of fact it is illegal to bring them into the U.S and also is considered theft on behalf of the Mexican government. If by some chance you still feel the need to do this, go back out the door at customs/re-entry when you you the drug and paraphernalia dogs, they will hit on you for "EXOTIC ANIMALS". Be careful, have fun and leave the turtles there! Good luck. |
