Of course you can be prosecuted. You have no expectation of privacy when in a public place and clearly visible (such as through a window). No expectation of privacy means no violation of privacy. |

Yes, and know that wherever we go in American cities now.... "Big Brother is watching you!"

If you're going too fast and you get caught you get prosecuted. I don't see how the clarity of the picture affects anything, other than proving beyond doubt that it was you. |

Lol, why have you got a bit on the side? |

Yes. If you appear in a public place, you can expect to have your photograph taken by these cameras. You have no expectation of privacy. |

you can still be prosecuted, because you won't be able to say "I wasn't there" when the picture shows you were. |

Yes you can be. No, it is not an invasion of privacy. You were driving on a PUBLIC ROAD. You gave up your privacy. Yes you can be prosecuted, and yes you will be if you don't pay your fine. |
|

Shakaar
|
Sure can. If you were breaking the law. As an example if OJ Simpson had been photographed killing his wife it wouldnt have been a violation of privacy, it would have been evidence of him committing a crime. |
|

Common Sense
 |
Yes. you probably can be prosecuted... |

There are competing legal issues. The judge will rule that the right to life of those on the road outweighs your right to privacy and that you could in any case maintain your privacy by keeping within the law. |

it is not a privacy invasion since you are on public roads ,
it is made for alot of people who try to evade tickets etc . it just shows that yes , you were on that road at that time etc . |
|

Thats the idea of this type of camera! if your face is clearly seen it proves beyond reasonable doubt that you were there, so yes you will be prosecuted and it is 99.9% certain you will lose. |
