There is nothing emotionally distressful about your employer using Merry Christmas, nor is there anything illegal about it. Who the heck wants to live in a cookie cutter world of politically correctness that has driven our nation into the immoral land it is now? Stop your whining and accept that people are different and it would be an extremely boring world if every one was the same and the only differences where those who commit crime and those who end up the victim. You are the one who is wrong in attempting to control what your employer does or states. |

Get over yourself and quit knit-picking. I'm sure this isn't the only thing you find to complain about, be grateful you have a job and live and let live. |

You need to accept all culture in your life. Tolerence of all beliefs should be your goal. Unless you are working for the ACLU or just looking for a quick buck, my advice is get on with more important things in your life. |

Only if you are 12 and haven't gown up. If someone wishes you "Merry Christmas" it is because of their beliefs. They are wishing you nothing but the best in life and hoping you enjoy this time of year. You don't have to subscribe to the same beliefs to understand their intentions for you. |

oh joy of joys, political correctness. My personal fav is the politically correct version of "Baa Baa Black Sheep"
Baa baa sheep of indiscriminate colour,
Have you any wool?
Yes, male or female adult,
Yes, male or female adult,
3 storage containers full.
One for an adult male,
One for an adult female,
And one for the slightly smaller that average male child who lives down the side street of an undisclosed nature.
As for political correctness at Christmas?
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! |

im confused. are you not christian? if someone is telling you merry christmas and youre not christian, say whatever you celebrate! ie, happy Hanukkah or whatever. you dont need to complain of "emotional distress" because someone simply said merry christmas. thats just stupid. |

of course you can complain, complaining is not against the law, but it is not against the law to celebrate holidays in the workplace. you will have no legal standing. you need to do some work on yourself though because this is common and if you let it bug you you will not be happy. |

it depends if he does it in a forceful way u may want to but if he was just trying to spread cheer around the work place would u really want to get him in trouble. if it really bothers u just tell him to stop |
