Can i get fired for not fitting in?

i was fired yesterday because by boss said i didn't fit in. can i get fired for that?

depends on the state and the local employment laws.

Is "fitting in" a key part of the job requirement? Is it a high performance team?

My condolences on your experience. My only advice is that everyone I know that has been laid off or let go has always found something much better, Today will be a better day for you!

Yh you can get fired for everything . But if its for something like race, ethnicity, age and you can prove that you were fired for this reason then you could take them to court.

If you signed an agreement that you can be fired for any reason your finished. However, if your work performance is exemplary consider it
their loss. You can file a complaint with the dept.of labor and they
will set up a hearing with you and your former employer. You may
get your job back but IM sure they will just make your life miserable.
I would file for unemployment benefits regardless of how long you,ve
worked there. If they protest, they need a good reason, not that you
are shy and don't fit in. good luck
