We get paid the last friday in the month - always have done the whole 9 years i've been with the company. Can my boss decide to change this & put it back a week without informing the staff ?

The answer is not clear. If your company is moving to a new payroll system for example, this might be appropriate -- changing the date of your pay or the timing of it, bot failing to notify you in advance is not acceptable. I'm not sure it's unlawful in any sense, it may be.
I suspect there is a financial problem in the company unless this is in fact moving to a new system of some sort. When they start delaying your paycheck it's time to run to the bank with that check -- the company's bank - and get it in cash. And get your resume up to date. |

No I think they should tell you. They have to because if you have scheduled payments they could mess everything up. |
