Can my sister sue? Someone who practices law or knows law needed?

My sister was a few months pregnant when she signed up to take some EMT classes (emergency medical technician). She told the people that were running the program of her condition and asked could she still take the courses because she had to pay out of pocket to be able to take the course and naturally she didn't want to watse her money or her time. They told her she could take the course so long as she brought in a note from her OBGYN that stated she would be able to take te course. My sister brought the note in and they accepted her applcation and of course her money. The people knew exactly how far along she was when she entered the program. Anyway, she did the course, took and passed the exams, her only limitation was the physical parts of the course which they told her she could observe. When it came time to take the final exam, there was a written exam and a part of the exam where she had to ride along with an ambulance crew for 2 days just to observe. Again they asked for a note from her OBGYN stating that she had the okay to go along on the ride and again she brought the note in. My sister was getting ready for her ride along, they called her back and said she couldn't do it because of her condition. They said she could substitute the ride along for observing in a hospital in an emergency room. then they said she couldn't do that either. Now at this point she is unable to complete her final exam and has to quit the program. She lost out on all the money she spent not to mention wasted alot of her own time. They told her she would have to come back to complete the course all over again and that she would have to pay for the course again. This can't be right, can it? It's not as if she hid her condition from anyone and she complied with everything they asked her to do. Is there anything she can do?

Once signed into that class, she became a liability to the school and unless she got something in writing, she will have to either escalate this situation with the school itself or get a lawyer to make them comply or just let her come back to finish the part that she missed out on. But I do have one concern and that is as an EMT, there is some physical exertion involved, how would she complete the course effectively and be a safe provider of service without experiencing some hands on practice. This would not only endanger human lives but her own as well. Even riding in the vehicle could have possibly been dangerous for her baby and herself. I'm not excusing the school for their lying ways but I am questioning the rational thinking of her doctors, your sister, the instructors, and the school itself.
