He is running for President not king! He won't rule us, he will lead us. And as a white American I can say that I will be happy to be led by a "black" if he is the best man for the job. (And I think he is.) |

I think that it's time in this country that we get more of the diversity in government that we already have in the general population. America has been the great 'melting pot' for a very long time now, and it's time to forget about the things that divide the races, and concentrate on how our diversity makes us stronger. It's time to put an end to things that are exclusive by race. There shouldn't exist all black colleges any more than there should be all white ones, for example. As for the presidency, a candidate should be chosen by what they can and will do for their country, and not the color of their skin, or their heritage. |

Your questions indicates your age as two or less. Whats color got to do with it. People like you need to go to school and get an education. Tell your mum you want to go to school please. |

Unfortunately, some people still have a problem with skin colour, and these people will not be voting for Obama. Those educated and intelligent people in the USA's population will vote dependant on the policies, not the skin colour, of the candidates. |

First of all the President of the United States "WORK FOR THE PEOPLE" The constitution says "We The People" so that's the citizens of the country. Why do you think elected officials are "civil servants" Congress, Senate, and VP, and President all work for the American people. Their job is to govern in the best interest of the people. So race doesn't matter! As an American I voted for Barack Obama cause I trust him to do what's in the best interest of "ALL" the American people. If you didn't know it America is made up of many nationalities, and colors, and Barack Obama is made up of two different ones himself. |

Does not matter about colour - does he have intelligence and ability. And then ask the question about current president. |

Barrack is a citizen of the United States born and bred. Have Americans forgotten their constitution and I think they have a Bill of Rights as well as theGettysburgg Address all of which stand out as fine examples for the modern world to follow. Is Omar less caring about USA because he is not white? I dout it. Ids he going to go all out to ruin the lives of whites? I doubt it? Are all American presidents experienced in diplomacy and foreign affairs? No! President trueman grew into his job so why can not Barrack who will have experience to hand with his officials. The only thing to worry about is how well will he choose dvisors and differentiate between conflicting advice. If he is to be president i for one , a brit wish him well and I feel that Americans should as well because if he fails so will you |

who cares if hes black
but to actually answer it, i think some white supremisists will try to stop it (i.e.the alledged assassination plans) but overall i would like to think tht a majority of voters wont be voting on account of skin color |

THIS RACE IS NOT ABOUT BEING BLACK AND IF IT IS FOR ANYONE, PLEASE DON'T VOTE, WE ARE LOOKING FOR SERIOUS PEOPLE TO VOTE, AND WHAT A DUMB QUESTION...YOU THINK IF OBAMA WINS, THE WHITES WILL THEN BECOME SLAVES TO THE BLACKS, WHAT IS THIS...WHEN ARE THE BLACKS GOING TO GET OVER USING THE RACE CARD.....OBAMA HAS NO EXPERIENCE OR VERY LITTLE OF, IF OBAMA WAS WHITE, HE WOULD STILL BE SITTING ON THE SENATE FLOOR , OH AND OBAMA IS NOT REALLY BLACK, WHAT ABOUT THE WHITE IN HIM, WHY IS IT THAT MIX CHILDREN ARE CONSIDERED BLACK |
