My spouse was involved in a traffic crash just yesterday, and she rearended the vehicle in front of her. The vehicle in front of her had already hit the truck in front of her, but was minor damage and the truck left the scene before police arrived. The driver and her friend of the vehicle in front of my wife tried to pull a switcharoo , but we have witnesses as to whom was actually driving that car. The actual driver did not have a license and was a minor. Can my spouse be held at fault for the accident. Our car was totaled in the crash. My spouse was not hurt, but one of the ladies in the middle car was complaining about her back hurting. Sad thing is she was out of the vehicle and moving around not complaining about anything until her mother arrived.
