If you got caught stealing and you gave them information about you, but did not have an ID to show them, can you still be charged for it? just wondering..

Yes, when you get to court, if you demand a jury trial, the state will bring the person who says you stole and they will point at you from the witness stand and say, "that person sitting right there wearing the black suit, is the person who stole from me on friday the 10th day of april, 2009. I know it was the same person, and would recognize them anywhere."
