I already gave you the best website that offers information on the laws of "host liability" in each state. This is because the law varies so widely state-to-state.
You need to research your state in particular. Chances are in your state, as in most, a private host is most likely to be held liable in cases involving a minor, in some it will include overly intoxicated guests.
As far as, "proving liability," there is no website that can help you with that. That is up to the host and other witnesses too the incident.
If you are in such a situation, (being charged or named in a lawsuit, etc.) the best thing to do is consult an attorney.
