Laws vary from state to state, but in TX it is a class B misdemeanor punishable by up to $1000 fine, and or up to 6 months in jail. |

This certainly varies from place to place. Generally you are unlikely to be jailed for a single instance of driving without a license. However, in some places your car will be impounded, you'll recieve heavy fines and charges for storing your vehicle or you may not get it back! Don't drive without a license...it's not worth it. |

for specific answers on cost and time you would need to contact the police dept in your area. But yes you will go to jail for DWLSR (driving while license is suspended or revoked) it's just as bad as not having one at all. Also, if you keep getting traffic infractions and suspensions you can and will be labeled as a habitual traffic offender and then any traffic infraction you get while labeled habitual will be a felony.
Don't drive if you're suspended or revoked! |

yes driving without a license equals jail time usually a short stay and a fine. you can drive as much as you want without a license just don't get caught or pay the price |

Yes, you can be arrested and put in jail.
If your license has been REVOKED, that means
that your PRIVILEGE to drive has been taken away.
Probably because you've demonstrated that you're a
danger to other motorists on the road.
As for your time in jail / amount of a fine to pay... that's completely up to the Judge when u go to court.
To cover your own butt... consider other options.
either ask somebody to give u a ride or look into
your local public transportation system(city bus or subway) |

Im pretty sure it depends on what state, but you could check your state website to find out.
My brother was pulled over for Driving under Suspension, and was brought to prision and had to be bailed out. He could have spent up to a year there, but there may have been some DUI's involved, so I'm not sure how that information relates to you. |

Depends on your State's laws.....in Texas, you can take a trip to jail for any driving offense EXCEPT for:
-Speeding, unless it is articulated as reckless driving
-Open contain, unless you are intoxicated of course.
Obey the laws! |

If you have lost your license, just stay out of the driver's seat. Yes, you can probably drive daily for a long time, but when you do get caught, the penalties will be much more severe and could include fines and jail time. It's up up the judge.
Just DON'T DO IT. |
