No, she is your legal guardian. |

No. |

If you are serious and feel you are in harms way - there are other ways of getting protection. Like child protection agency? It's her house, it's her rules. You can move out, live with it, try to negotiate it or get help from the authorities. |

:P

I assume you have somewhere else to live? |

no |

yes if you have proof of abuse |

They have laws to protect under age children but hey usually who ever pays the bills has the freedom and that is how the world works, |

edgar

no, you can call child services and they will handle it by taking you away. but it sounds like your just being a bratt though. |

Why Would You Put A restaning Order On You Mother? |

Jo
I hope that you live with your dad.
File a report with the police to notify them what she is doing. I don't see why you couldn't put one on her as long as it is justified. |

Assuming you live with your mother....Probably not, they'd most likely give you to another family member or put you in social services or something like that. How can you have a restraining order (person 1 has to stay 100 yards away from person 2 at all times) when the first person lives with you?
you'd have to move out. |

no you cannot |

Call the police department. Maybe they could give you a better answer. |

depends on what she's done not on your age. |

Not if you live with her and dont have a valid reason. Besides a judge isnt going to listen to you. |

Boo Hoo... Mommy's making you obey rules...
Unless you are emancipated, you cannot get a restraining order aginst your parent and legal guardian |

Dilbert
If you try it, you're likely to end up in a foster home or group home. Whatever reason you give for the restraining order, that reason will be used to justify action by the department of child welfare, to remove you from your home, for your own safety. |

Phoenix, Wise Guru
Yes, you could, but this would also result in you being put into foster care to remove you from your mother. |

allknowing
I'm sure it depends on the situation. Why would you want to do that? |

brittbritt
yes you can because if you are 18 and older you can vote so you can put a restraining order on your mother if it is a good cause |

Tim H
If you are emacipated and living on your own then yes, otherwise no. |

The Pope
No . . but you can have her arrested if needed. You will be sent to a foster home though if your other family members wont take care of you. Good luck. |

It depends on which country you live in.
In the UK, you can't. Elesewhere, see your solicitor, s/he can advise you. If you live in the USA (no offence meant) you can do anything! |

Not gonna happen. If you are at least 17, you can pack up and leave and there is not a damn thing your Mother can do about it. But, believe me you, the world is much harsher than your Mother. If you are under 17 and there is physical abuse going on, contact your local department of social services. If you are just not happy with your home life and the rules and your are under 17, then you just gonna have to deal with it. |

I doubt it. Try moving out. |

luhb u much!!
LMAO r u kidding, u obviously cant...ur prob just mad at her...for the moment |

You need to become emancipated from her first I think, or a court can file on on your behalf. |

jesse d
I don't know about an restraining order, but you can always file for emancipation. Then you can do whatever you like. |

Latin Beauty

Ofcourse you can, especially if you are being abused. |
