Where is the fraud? What have they actually done to you? If you're alleging that banks are inherently invalid because they're based in America's legal monetary system, you don't actually have an argument.

Main Street America has a very misguided notion of debt, i.e., 'I did not have sufficient means to pay for house I contracted to buy (fraud) but I deserve it somehow, anyway. In fact, all my responsible countrymen who were NOT living beyond their means as I was should cover it in a bailout pkg.'

You can see what's wrong with this scenario.

No, it doesn't. This is a pure myth, mostly spread by nutcase "tax protester" types and other oddballs.

The Constitution only prohibits *STATES* from making anything except Gold and Silver coins public tender. At the time the Constitution was written, the Federal government was already issuing paper money.

I agree with (most) of what Charlie said - produce the note!

Many people were misled into predatory loans, which is, in many cases, the primary reason for their default. In addition, repeated efforts by borrowers to work out payments for their mortgages are met by a brick wall from the loan servicers. They drag it out and pile on unfair fees and penalties increasing the arrearage to exoribitant amounts by their delay tactics. Then, they try to steal the borrowers home without proof that they own the loan. Yeah, I think they should have to prove they have a right to foreclose. Itâ€™s the law. At the very least, they owe that borrower an ounce of effort to renegotiate a fair loan. This will work to put pressure on the lenders and servicers, if enough people use this strategy.

Uhhh, NO.

Take some responsibility for your choices. When you obtained the mortgage you were given the terms, IN FULL, on paper. You chose to sign off on it. You *bought* this mortgage, I hope you shopped around for it. If you signed off on terms that didn't work out for you, that is your fault.

EDIT- So what would change if we went back to the gold standard instead of a fiat system? Are you saying you have a bulging pocket full of gold and would be able to make your payment?

Needs more info. But, if you have defaulted on any loan payment, you are in violation of your contract and they can take the collateral you used.

If a court found your original contract void, then you have a case.

Interest and inflation are normal occurrences of any economy.

ask the bank to present the original lenders note. most of these loans have been sold to other banks and traded off many times over. if they cannot produce the note, then they cannot prove that you owe the money. The courts will side with the homeowner, and the homeowner will own their home 100%..with no money due.

and yes the federal reserve has been counterfeiting our currency for almost 100 years!
