i was in a car accident today, it wasnt my fault, but the driver think it was my fault. i had 2 witnesses at said it was her fault. That driver doesn't have a license or a permit to drive. so basically she is driving illegally. i called the cops and they filed a report. they towed my car away and that drivers car. i was hit in the head a little. should i go hire an attorney?

Contact your insurance company and see if they will provide an attorney for you. Most likely they will but if they don't I would say yea hire one. |

For what reason? If you were injured, you should have reported that to the police at the time...and gone to the nearest hospital to be checked out. As far as hiring an attorney to represent you, you should not consider doing that unless the other person attempts to sue you or your insurance company. Best advice....Don't Sign Anything. |

Yes. But if you want to save costs, you may engage an attorney only after the other driver serve you a Summons or the police charge you in court.
However if you need advise on what to say and do before anything worse happen, then you can see an attorney immediately to seek legal advise. |
