This wasn't just a case of Cartman being upset with Mom about his cheesy poofs.
If you're 22, you're old enough not to be throwing things at people. Especially people you live with (this was domestic assault, and you leave out the fact that the guy ADMITS HE WAS ON METH). I'm glad Dad said enough. I wouldn't want some cranky guy on meth in my house either.
It's not a VERY short jump from this to figuring it's okay to just punch Dad outright. I'd want the methhead out of my house and locked up at least long enough to get over his mad. |

When Police Officers respond to domestic violence calls they must make an arrest. If you call the cops on someone in your house for domestic abuse they will get arrested. As ridiculous as it is, its the law. It probably has saved more than a few women from getting beat on the minute cops leave. |

That's crazy....I'd be in prison by now if I got arrested every time I chucked something at someone LOL |

My thoughts,i wouldn't call the cops to control my kid. 22 is a good age for an azz whipping by dear old dad. |

What a way to treat cheesy poofs! |

I think if the father ate the chips, he should be facing charges against him for theft.
But the father should consider giving his son the boot. Teach him a little respect. |

I wouldn't be surprised if they're both idiots. |

His dad probably deserves it if he gets that worked up over getting hit in the face with a bag of snacks. |

I heard about that on the news last night. Honestly, i think it's ridiculous. If that was the case, my brother should have been arrested when we got into a pillow fight one time and he knocked me upside the head with a feather pillow. I'm sorry, but i can guarantee that the feather pillow hurt a heck of a lot more than that stupid bag of cheetos. So it hit his glasses and gave him a little cut on the nose... who cares? It's not a life and death situation... If you ask me, his dad sounds like a p*ssy. Either it's that, or the relationship between the father and son was not a very good one and he was just looking for any reason to have his son taken out of the house...Either way, it still pathetic... |

They where the puffs?? Come on man, those things are soft.

they (the police and the father) are probably just trying to prove a point. It seems silly to be charged with an assault for throwing a bag of cheetos at your dad, but the point is, the way to deal with a problem is not to throw something at the other person. What if it were something sharp and/or heavy he threw? And what if it was thrown at someone he didn't know? what if the person was seriously injured. They are teaching him a lesson, that violence will not solve your problem, it will only make it worse and bring more negative consequences. The son should have just tried talking to his dad, and if they were too heated and angry, he should just walk away until they can cool off and talk about it later. |

This is about the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life. I thought when I heard about the guy that got Driving Under the Influence charges while riding a bike was ridiculous, but this takes the damn cake or should I say takes the cheese. It literally is the "cheesiest charge" ever!!! LOL |

The dad should have taught his son at a younger age not to throw things. |

Plain silly. Charges should be dropped. That's embarassing, too. |
