Child rape, would you kill some one if they raped and brutalized your child?

if some one raped your child and made it so that they could never have children would you kill the person who raped them? in the supreem court it ruled that capital punishment could not be imposed without the death of the victim, except possibly for espionage or treason. now think of this, that child cna no longer have children shouldn't that be considered a crime that should have the death penalty? I mean really though they've effectively killed the child's cances of ever having a family, and what about the parents they will never have grandchildren, if that happened to my kid I would kill the s.o.b. I know better than most people what its like to have been raped as a child my father did it to me and got away with it because of the statute of limitations and because he fled to canada, I had supressed the memory of the event and because of that I will never have justice, if that ever happens to my kid I would make the person responsible beg for death before I was done with them!

I wouldn't get caught I live in a border town where people like that dissapear, they would never find the body, my grandma did the same to some cirminals who raped my mom, I wouldn't deprive my kid of her dad

I think the reason why crime is so much higher in the US is because of our lax law enforcement, I believe in Eye for an Eye and I think it should be the way we handle our criminals!

Of course not. That is silly. What good am I to my child and my family in need if I am in prison or a mental institution, or even if I got off, stressed out and going through the court system? That is not an effective way to aid your child and your family when they need you the most. That would be a selfish act. Let the law take care of it. They are the experts. You are only an expert in taking care of your child.

So, according to your logic, in ADDITION to the indignity and psychological damage caused by the rape you would want to subject your child to the loss of his/her parent too?? While I may WANT desperately to kill the scum who did that to my child, this is all the more reason that we must NOT pass legislation and make public policy based on personal experience and emotion.

Actually, I have been in this situation when my step daughters b/f molested my 2 yr old daughter. Before this happened, I always said I would want to kill him also, but when reality hits, the first thing you do is call the police. I am glad I called the police, and did the right thing, My daughter needed her mom , and I was there for her, not sitting in jail. But I did make sure that all the people in court getting sentenced the same day he was, knew exactly what he had done.Well, He didn't make it past his first day in prison, someone, had hung him in his cell. Was justice served? I think it was.

i wouldnt kill them exactly, becuz, well, i'm not into killing and stuff..............
but i'd definitely beat him/her until he was ALMOST dead, and then call the police, tell them that he was molesting my child and that i was protecting my child, and then i would sue the man for ruining our lives, and then when the molester gets put into jail, he'll get killed anyway becuz no one likes a person who hurts a child permanently...
so i that way, i would have destroyed the person, and he would have died penniless and hated.
i would be outraged, of course, but i wouldnt kill the person. its just not in my nature....
o, by the way, i'm so sorry for what happened to u. it must have been very hard to handle. =( i applaud u for getting over it and moving on. =)

Really, I wouldn't feel the need to. I would do what someone else said and let the other inmates know what they did. There are two taboos in prison: child molestation and rape. In some southern places, abuse of animals is up there, too. People who go in there for that normally get what's coming to them.
