What happens when the court clerk misfiles a plaintiffs complaint? I was suppose to have filed for paternity, joint legal custody, and visitation rights however, the clerk entered my claim as a divorce. Is my case in jeopardy, and/or what are my options? FYI, it's been like 16 days since i've filed it, and she's still yet to respond anyway so.......

No, it's just a clerical error. That wouldn't affect your rights in your case (though you do need to clear up the mistake, which you are doing). |

Your case can be delayed because of the clerical error, and you need them to fix it as soon as possible, and do a follow up as to whether the problem was fixed or not. You always have to ask them, or else they don't bother to change it.
If you do that, then your case isn't in jeopardy.
