Contributing to a minor in los angeles county?! HELP IM ONLY 18!!!?

I received a misdemeanor ticket "contributing to a minor" because i had less then a gram of marijuana while driving around with my 17 year old friend at 11:50 pm. Im 18 btw, and was wondering how much the fine would cost and what are the penalties? I haven't told my parents yet and my court date is comin up on 4/17. Also this is my first misdemeanor offense and also had a pack of cigs with me at the time and have no clue if the police reported i had marijuana or cigs to "contribute". is there anyway i can find this out?

Contributing to a minor in Nebraska: $400-$1000(max) or 1 year in jail or both

Contributing to a minor in Texas : $4000 fine, 180 days in texas or both
