Having seen five or so videos on YouTube with the song Richman (3OH!3) in them, and about 1,000,000 AMVs with various songs, I decided to post my own attempt at one. It processed the video for about 20 minutes, and then told me my video had been removed due to a copyright claim by WMG. I respect their right to take down their music, but why let so many other people upload it, yet not me?

There could be any number of reasons for this. One thing to keep in mind is that removing infringing videos takes two steps: (1) discovery of the infringing video, and (2) submission of a corresponding DMCA takedown notice. It may be that they did not discover the other infringing videos or they have yet to submit a DMCA takedown request for those infringing videos that have been discovered.
