I sold a speaker box and 12 in subs(pioneer), and an amp(sony xplod) and the radio. I hardly used the speaker box and subs or amp. I did use the radio in my car. They were all in working order before I gave them to my brothers friend. He personally said that he didn't know how to install a radio or anything. He gave us $200 for everything. He later calls and says the amp goes off and on and that he wants his money back for everything. He threatens my family and that he is going to mess up my cars and post up at my apartment till he gets his money back. If things were reversed, he is the type to keep the money and say "I didn't guarantee any warranty." Are we obligated to give him the money back? Advice greatly Appreciated!

This is a private sale and you have no obligation since you offered no warranty and have no reason to think this was defective when you gave it to him. Call the police and make a report about his threats in case he carries them out. |
