Credit card issues, ex fiance problems, legal help needed?

When me and my ex fiance were together, he gave me his credit card number,
and let me use his credit card to pay some of my bills,
now that we are broken up........
Ok so my ex fiance gave me his credit card, and used to send me money through western union all the time, to help me pay some of my bills, because I cant find a job.
Well he dumped me a few days ago, and he told me if I dont give him my engagement ring back, then he will LIE and press charges on me, and tell the police that I used his credit card without his permission.
Can he LIE to the cops and the judge and tell them that he never allowed me to use his credit card?
He is making things up!!!!! He is the one that gave me his credit card to pay my bills for a few months, and now hes saying thats not true...I AM INNOCENT, I would NEVER use somebodys elses card without their permission, and I'm willing to take a lie dector test to proove myself.......

I know I should speak with a lawyer, but I know I'm innocent and I'm willing to take a lie detector test just to prove my innocence because the guy is flat out lying!

1. The ONLY relationship with full legal ties husband/wife.Fiancé/fiancéé, boyfriend/girlfriend=no ties.
2. Lie detectors prove nothing and are no better than a 50/50 guess, and not admissible.
3. He lent you the card on several occasions over a period of months.
4. This is a civil matter, not a criminal one.
5. Civil matters are not settled on "beyond reasonable doubt", but "on the balance of probability". If he can afford to bring this matter before a court, a judge would want to know why he tolerated use of his card for months. Forget about it, have no contact with him. |

Sure he can lie. It happens all of the time. It will all come down to who the judge believes if you don't have written proof that he allowed you to use his credit card. In your favor, a judge is probably going to believe you if this was some months ago that he let you use his card and he is only now getting around to pressing charges.

Let him try to press charges. Since he allowed the use over several MONTHS, he will be committing fraud by claiming you didn't have permission. |
