I was separated from my ex when my daughter was only months old. The divorce was final 3 years later - We have shared parenting with me as the custody parent for school - she visits him 1-2 days a week and every other weekend. -
Suddenly last year (when he remarried) he decided to take her for half the summer and began to exercise all of his allotments. Child support had not been adjusted since the first order was done, nearly 6 years ago - last month I asked for it to be reviewed - a significant increase was made - he appealled - then he lost the local appeal and wanted to have it sent to the state for review -
THE DAY AFTER THE LOCAL APPEAL he filed custody papers saying my daughter is neglected!!!!!
And, I am the "freak out" type - so I'm going nuts right now (just received in the mail this AM) I guess my question is will a judge more than likely see through this alleged neglect and see his ppettiness

And this is why I think the State should take children away from divorcing parents and file liens against both parents for the cost of raising the child. No visitation rights for either parent and the children treated as if they were in witness protection.
Get yourself a lawyer and get all the facts documented. Happy battle and both lawyers thank you for making them that much richer. |
