I recommend to your father that he not yell at you.
He probably has good reasons for not wanting you to drink soda. It is bad for your teeth, for one thing.
However he should not yell at you. there are better ways to discuss the issue. |

Sounds like he is very stressed out, if something like that would set him off. |

Well that depends if you were breaking a house rule or not. If he did it for no reason then yeah. But if you were instructed not to have soda , been given a limit, or any rule or order your broke when pouring the soda, then no because you broke the rules.
The fact that he did it till you cry well that depends on how sensitive your are . Some people cry if your simply talk to them others cry when somebody gets mad so its really not a judgment on the situation. |

are you not suppose to drink soda? Why would he yell? |

Well I would say that if he yelled enough for you to cry then he's overdone it, but at the same time if you did not havee permission to have the soda then he did have the right to tell you off for it, that is if it was not your soda as I am assuming. He also might be a little stressed, try not to take it too personally. If it happens alot then I would suggest telling as school councellor as it may be the begining of abuse. |

If he does it frequently it could be considered abuse. |
