MANSLAUGHTER MEANS SOMEONE DIED AS A RESULT OF YOUR ACTIONS. MURDER MEANS YOU INTENTIONALLY KILLED SOMEONE. |

Intent is the deal breaker. Manslaughter is mainly proved when the death was caused by an unintentional, negligent or illegal act. No intention of killing is present in manslaughter. Intention of killing is an element that must be proved to bring a first degree murder charge, or it will be dropped down. |

Murder means you planned to kill someone and took the steps to kill someone. ex man shoots his wife after a fight
Manslaughter means you acted in a negligent way that caused a death. Ex man drives drunk and hits and kills a child with his car. |

murder is intention to kill or cause grevious bodily harm.
manslaughter lack of the intention but manslaughter got a few kind, constructive manslaughter and gross negligence manslaughter...
constructive is when u do something unlawful, dangerous and cause the death of the V. need not have intention
gross negligence is when u owe a duty of care to the Victim.
murrder is with intention and the is only 2 defence to it. either provocation or deminised responsiblity ( layman term is madness)
