I think it should.
If someone terminally ill is in pain, they should be allowed to die with dignity.
The terminally ill should have a choice on whether to live until they die naturally, or if they want to, die before the pain gets too much.
After all, democracy should be about choice and we live in a democractic (or so we think) |

yes i do...however, it is obvious that their are many people who would take advantage of sucha law and possible kill and put it down as assisted suicide. I wouldn't ever like to be in the situation of either the person giving help or needing it. i dont think i could help someone die though, especially someone close to me! |

It f*cking amazes me that we have a society that would put someone in prison for making animals suffer an existence of pain and misery,then not punish you for making a human do the same!! All you need is a legal contract signed and witnessed the same as marriage,pre-nuptials and making one for lovers that enter into a relationship might help protect the male from a life of misery from the unequal rights in chidbirth.These should all be legal |

Yes. Who are we to tell someone that their suffering is more important to society than letting them die with some dignity?
If God is the sole entity responsible for our life, then we should never treat disease, since disease is God's way of removing life. |

Maybe it should or not, but if it is it must be very restricted to those who know what they are doing and heavy legislation by the government so no backalley suicides are comitted. |

Suicide is the act of terminating one's own life. By permitting someone to assist in one's suicide then it becomes Homicide which refers to the act of killing another human being.

assisted suicide is same as murder with consent!
there will be so many disappearing from the homes and elderly taken away on assisted suicide, esp those who have no one to care or watch over them -letters and consents can be easily fabricated.
this is so ridiculous!
