It's so tempting - especially with the British justice system as it is - most murders get downgraded to manslaughter which leads to about 18 months in prison and they are out again. The irony is that if you then killed the criminal you would probably get done for murder and face about 20 years in prison - out system rarely favours the victim. |

No. You do not have the Human Right to do that. Here is where it gets interesting. You DO have the MORAL RIGHT to take justice into your own hands. One could argue that you even have the MORAL RESPONSIBILITY to execute the individual. |

no, but if that really happened to you hurry! do it quickly and you can probably copy a temporary insanity plea. Otherwise, take deep breaths, warm baths and try aroma therapy. Consult Yahoo Answers for further advice. |

That would make you has bad as the killer. |

Sadly, no.
Don't do it.
You'll just get more angry when you have to serve time.

No. However, if you kill the person who kills someone you love either RIGHT after they did it or RIGHT after you found out you'll get a much lighter sentence. 'Temporary Insanity' is when you bug out and kill as a reaction that you didn't (arguably) have sufficient time to think about the consequences of your actions. |

No they don't! but if someone killed someone i love then i would want revenge!!
but dont do it unless your sure its them that killed your loved one! and if someone has killed someone you love, then im sorry to hear. |

Nope, that is called revenge. And you could be wrong about who did it. Then you would have murdered an innocent person.
Best left to the Court system. That is what it is there for. |

No, but you should be able to. I think I would get on with doing what had to be done without talking about it. |

I can understand why people do it though, or think about doing it, but two wrongs dont make a right and by lowering yourself to their level wont bring back the person you love. |

No, the only exception is defense
(if you are defending that person from someone who is trying to kill them) |

no, |

Obviously not, as that would come under murder.
Then both of you would end up in prison for a LONG time.
Human rights do not include justification of murder, silly. |

Pleading 'human rights' for killing a person is tantamount to trying to use illegality as the back door of the law to commit your crime.
It is against the law to commit murder, irrespective of reasons you may hold dear.
Nice try though! |

No, even if the justice system does not work.
If you killed that person, would someone who loved them think it was their human right to kill you? That could start a war. |
|

Human rights whatever that is may allow this.
However, the State will probably execute you for it.
You do not have the legal or even moral, right to kill someone because you beleive he deserves it.
That's what judges and juries are for.
Our criminal justice system does not allow vigilante justice.
You want to make yourself Judge, Jury and Executioner.
If everyone did that we'd be in one hell of a fix. |

Revenge killing is the worst kind of retaliation. Killing with any kind of premeditation should not occur because it was thought out extensively, during which the knowledge of knowing it is wrong did occur. Killing of any kind is wrong. |

human right do not allow anyone to kill for any reason, excluding capitol punishment which is only used in some countries. |
