Whether you are right or wrong, imagine what would happen if you won? Everybody would stop paying taxes and the country would be an even worse mess than it is already. What judge wants to be the one to start that domino effect? And, consider this . . . where does the money come from to pay the judge's salary? mmmm hmmm.

Some people say that once you get a social security number, you are in the system and that is the hook by which you have agreed to be responsible for paying income taxes. I don't know if that's accurate or not, but there are people who have tried to renounce their social security numbers and become 'sovereign' individuals. Just don't expect to be able to open a bank account or get a regular job.

Well, why do you think America has an IRS? How do you think the government gets money to build roads and put up street lights and to pay state and federal jobs? People do pay taxes to have roads to drive to work. If you have a low paying job then you will not pay a lot of taxes but you need to pay some to stay in the system. You also need to pay unemployment taxes too. It gets real complicated as taxes pay for a lot of things you enjoy in life like our national parks, our festivals and our state universities and our charity hospitals. Think about it.....................

ACTUALLY, you do not have to pay income taxes, and it is an illegal tax. Yes, lots of people say the 16th amendment to the U.S. Constitution authorizes the government to tax income. But the thing is, WAGES OR SALARY ARE NOT INCOME. Wages or salary are an EXCHANGEMENT for goods or services, which most of the time is money.

It's not that hard to prove that the income tax is illegal, there is one Supreme Court case that puts this argument to rest easily.

The Supreme Court case JOHN R. STANTON V. BALTIC MINING COMPANY 240 U.S. 103 (1916).

The Supreme Court ruled that the 16th Amendment gave the government "NO NEW POWER OF TAXATION."

That's all you need.

And, if you people would do some ACTUAL research, you would find that the ILLEGAL income tax being implemented by our government DOES NOT pay for roads, schools, libraries, or anything like that. So you ask, what pays for all that then? And even though I do not agree with all of them, the LEGAL taxes go to pay that: Sales Tax, Property Tax, Corporation Tax, Car Tax, Tobacco Tax, Alcohol Tax, Inheritance Tax, and many more.

You want to know where the Income Tax goes to. It mostly goes to pay off the interest that is owed on the money that the Federal Reserve prints. And the funny thing is, the Federal Reserve is a PRIVATELY OWNED ORGANIZATION!!!!! Everytime the Federal Reserve prints out money, it gives it to the Treasury at an INTEREST RATE!!!! So before that money is even distrubuted, there is a DEBT owed on the money already. This system is corrupt.

The thing that shocks me is, one of the full powers that the U.S. Constitution gives the U.S. Government is to be able to print, regulate and distrubute money, and THEY DON'T, they let a privately owned company do it for them.

Anyways, to answer the original question, the Income Tax is an illegal tax, the Supreme Court said so in 1916, and there are numerous other cases between 1915-1921, where the Supreme Court ruled the same thing again and again. So any law that is passed, like some guy posted a couple posts before this, that law or code is nullified by the Supreme Court case ruling. Do some ACTUAL research and you will know this AS FACT.

So if I am understanding what you are saying, we should pay our taxes because if you do not your life will be ruined by the regime of IRS Cops that only have a job because people pay their taxes? I have done the research and I can not see where it says that the individual American has to pay taxes on their income. The money you make from working is a trade for services therefore, according to the tax laws, not taxable.

I pay my taxes because I am afraid of the IRS. I am afraid they will take my car, my house, my belongings. I am afraid that they will ruin my life. I do not pay because I want to. It is out of fear.

I do not want my kids to think that their father was a loser that would not stand up for what he believes in. I will not have that gun to my head and fork over my hard earned dollars just so that money can pay the Federal Reserve off for the money the US government owes.

Really do you think your federal income tax dollars go towards paying for roads and street lights? Isn't that what your toll money goes towards? Or is it the schools that will suffer? Nope, because your property taxes pays for the schools. Ever wonder why schools in poor neighborhoods have low test scores and offer poor education? Because there is insufficient amount money coming in from property taxes. Same reason for why rich neighborhoods have nice schools and high test scores.

Look around there is a sheet coving the eyes of the people in the US. Whatever happened to fighting for what we want and standing up for our rights? We are to busy watching American Idol and worried about our TV shows to care what the government does. Keep them mindless and they will behave and so as they are told. Wake up people.

This is the last year I am paying the IRS.

you're right. paying taxes is 100% unconstitutional so i hope you voted for ron paul!! But if you were to take this to court you would not win. That's just the way our country is run - by low life disgusting greedy dirtbags.
