Some of my fellow europeans do, apparently, what with their legalized suicide. |

I think it's completely weird, and the sign of a mental illness, but bottom line, yes, I think they should be allowed to. |

Yes as long as it doesn't harm anyone else, mentally or physically. It's their own grave. |

Why not? As long as they sign a waiver against getting any government assistance from it. |

Yes, if they are mentally competent to make that decision. Probably anyone that would want to do that is certifiably insane. I know of no cases of anyone actually wanting to do this.
Also, no doctor would do that, it's a violation of the Hippocratic oath. |

Sure but I don't think any doctor would do the procedure for them. I would suggest seeing a psychologist first. |

♦ I think if someone is wanting to amputate a healthy limb or body part, then they aren't mentally capable of making medical decisions, and need to seek mental help from a professional. |

yes they can - unless it is harmful or suicidal |

I think no because you did not give anything in return for that body, there for the body is not yours but is a lend. because we come to the world in this body and we use it for the exam of this world. when the exam finishes and we die, we return the body and go on with our soul. |

the only reason they would want thios is to be a pity party so do what u want but dont exspect me to feel sorry for them and there stupidity |

I agree with the above |

Is there any way to stop them without infringing on their right to control over their own lives?
From a social cost perspective, having a leg amputated is costly, and having a child is also costly. Having an abortion is ultimately less costly on society than having a baby.

No. People that want the lower back tattoo should be put in prison or at least a mental hospital. |

This is not a rational request, therefore the person should be referred for mental help. No doctor should provide this service, especially at the expense of taxpayers, but also he should be worried that if the person gets mental help after wards and regrets their decision the Dr. may be sued for malpractice. |

sure, if they want to be that retarded to go without it |

As long as it's done in a safe setting by liscensed medical personel (and not in a back-alley by a pretend surgeon), I don't care what they cut off. It's their body. |
