One things for sure, if your gonna get caught with a bag full of talc, make sure its not in a country where prisons actually scare criminals, and life means life. They wont see the light of day for many a year. Mick |

Every time this happens the old cry goes up "we were set up ,we didn't know anything about it" what an absolute load of rubbish,if they had delivered the drugs they would have been laughging like hell at the authorities. In this day and age of terrorist scares etc. common sense dictates that you don't take things aboard a 'plane that aren't yours. They deserve everything that they get, kids or no kids. |

I know.....and how stupid are the parents...'We thought they were on a school trip'.....WTF!!!
I sure wouldn't let my kids go on a trip with the shool without knowing all the details......Those girls knew EXACTLY what they were doing!!! |

Of course they knew what they were doing, they lied to their parents, school trip to France?, free holiday to Ghana (still probably better than France to honest lol) given 1 empty laptop bags weighed down with £300,000 of drugs, asked to give the bags to some guy in the airport in the uk. Sound perfectly normal to you? I don't think so, you'd be hard pushed to find anyone to admit they were drug running where the penalty can be 10 years in a he££ hole of jail.
No playstations, early releases for these two and we should not as a nation start any campaigns to get them out of a foriegn country not when they are caught red handed, I know it's not going to be nice but if you do the crime you gotta do the time, and it should be in the country the offence was committed in, not liberal (and it must be someone elses fault but yours) Britain.
I say stupid NO calculated YES unlucky YES, well done to Ghana in your fight against drugs |

My daughter is 16. She would know exactly what was going on, I cant believe these 2 didnt.
Their statement "I dont know nuffin" proves the fact that they are stupid. They got in way over their heads in a big boys game and will now have to pay big boys prices. |

i doubt it - theyre too stupid to think about it |

Ding dong, I'm Sparticus 2.

We 'know ' they are as stupid as they are guilty. It will be interesting how the government play this. |

If they are really innocent young 16year olds like they are saying they are, then they shouldn't have been on their own in the first place, and if they are street wise as most 16 year olds these days then there is no way they could not know what they were doing! |

At least these two idiots cant get away with it by saying that it was a racially inspired set up by white guys. They knew exactly what they were up to, so why the fuss by our embassy officials and the prisoners abroad mob to intervene? If they had got these drugs back to the U.K. there is no telling what harm it would have caused. They were lucky it was Ghana and not Thailand where they were caught. They must have inherited their parents brains? Their parents must be as thick as two planks! as schools always give parents the details of the itinery of school trips. Did they not think to check with the school anyway? |

They got their just desserts.
It was no accident, it was planned and deliberate.
Hopefully, this will act as a deterrant to others. What a shame British prisons are not as tough as foreign ones.
If they were caught in Britain, they'd probably get compensation for something. |

They probably do. How can they think above their intelligence. 'A dog may as well ponder on the mind of Einstein'. |
