I work in healthcare in Missouri and we have been told there has to always be two people in the building at all times. I work a shift in which there IS only two of us so even though we go to the breakroom we cannot leave. Many people have told me in Missouri if you cannot leave the building they cannot deduct that time from your hours. I'm considering confronting the company about this but would like some hard facts (preferably from the MO worker's law website) but can't seem to find any on my own. Does anyone know if this is true, and, do you know how I could obtain the information?
