Disapprove, why is it we need to abandon our legal standards to deal with terrorist...it seems to imply our system doesn't work so we are bypassing it.

Worst of all if I were writing a fictional story like 'Vendetta' or '1984'...the patriot act makes a timely transition from America to a police state reasonable/believable.

I think it's undemocratic

I approve:

1. The Patriot Act allows FBI to communicate with CIA, and let agencies coordinate and share information.

2. The Patriot Act authorizes Congress to pay 9/11 victim's families.

I would not want to be the one to ask those people to return the money.
