Currently 13 countries, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Israel, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, and Switzerland, have made it illegal to openly deny the holocaust. How do you feel about this?

Nope. How can you make a free choice to accept or deny something of that nature illegal, they are entitled to their opinion, and that;s all it is an opinion.
I agree its a stupid uninformed opinion, but just the same they are entitled to their opinions.

no, everyone is entitled to their own opinion..... i know people that say that we didnt and never have walked on the moon....or that the kennedy assassination wasnt real ect....all these are actual FACTS of history and ignorance of history doesnt need to be punished by a law, its a persons own stupidity that will slow them down through life... |

No I don't. I don't think it should be illegal to ask stupid questions either, if it was a lot of people would be locked up. I really don't care what other countries do with regard to the laws they pass. Too many people in the US believe we should voice our opinions on what other countries do, in this case it's none of our business. |

Well I'm not sure it should be illegal but it is unintelligent and uneducated. I think freedom of speech is one of the greatest freedoms someone can have. |

Well, here in the United States we have this thing called the Constitution. The Constitution is the supreme law of our land. In our Constitution is a Bill of Rights specifically enumerated to protect our citizens. Our first amendment includes the right to free speech. It was the intent of our forefathers to protect this sacred right, because when they were subjects of the British crown, people were imprisoned and even killed for speaking out against their government.
That having been said, being stupid is a privilege not a right, and too many people abuse that privilege. Denying the holocaust just proves that some people over indulge in their privileges. |

I don't think it's a good idea. People say all sorts of untrue things - denying moon landing for example - that aren't illegal. It seems to go against freedom of speech/opinion. I hate it when people say stupid things but making it illegal is ridiculous. |

I refuse to give up my right to deny it. I have no desire to do so, but I still want my right.
It would be literally impossible to pass such a law in the US. |
